Little Free Library - "Gardening for the Future"

The votes are in, and our lovely garden club ladies overwhelming chose a book donation drive for The Little Free Library!

Please bring gently used or new garden, bird, insect or environment related children's books to our upcoming monthly meetings. You may also donate cash or checks payable to LOGC with book drive written in the For area located at the bottom of your check. Our GOAL is to gather enough books for ten (10) Little Libraries around the San Antonio area.

Shop at your favorite local books stores, Amazon or at Little Free Library partner Books4School.

Community Project: Activities

Project Status

LOGC President Aj Garcia has been in contact with the local Little Free Library representative gathering details for our Spring distribution.

11-01-21 - The announcement has been made for book donations

11-13-21 - LOGC received it's first book donations from members Ann Martin and Carolyn Tolar!

12-10-21 - We are at a total of 21 books! Thank you to members Liz Jauer, Lois Bready and Coral Dornbluth. Please let me know if you have donated so I can recognize you. It can get crazy at the meetings and I want to make sure I keep proper records for our community project.

01-30-21 - We have exceeded our goal and are currently at 31 books! We have moved the finish line to 40 books for our Spring Community Project. Helen Bryan and Mary Lou Vielock, thank you for your donations!

03-18-22 - We are at a total of 48 books! We are still in need of volunteers to help with our May 5th distribution day.

04-25-22 - A total of 58 books donated! We have five volunteers signed up for distribution. If you would like to sign up contact AJ.

06-2-22 - LOGC volunteers delivered books to 9 Free Little Libraries!
